Caterpillars Class Children ages 6 months to approximately 18 months will have the opportunity to play with other children and receive love and care from our qualified teachers. Parents are asked to supply diapers, wipes, formula, and food each day. Please make sure all items are labeled with your child’s name. Daily reports are sent home each day describing eating, diapering, and sleeping patterns. We offer a small class ratio with a maximum of 7 children per class with 2 teachers.
Butterflies Children close to 24 months and 2 ½ years of age will have the opportunity to explore their world through their senses. Age appropriate skills are taught with emphasis on language development and socialization skills. Activities and crafts encourage the children to recognize their surroundings. Please make sure all items are labeled with your child’s name. Parents are asked to send a lunch each day. We offer a small class ratio with a maximum of 10 children per class with 2 teachers.
Frogs Children between 2 ½ and 3 ½ years of age are encouraged to recognize colors, shapes and explore their world through fun play and activities. We encourage self help and teach age appropriate skills with emphasis on social, cognitive, language, and motor skills. These children are still trying to master their potty skills. Please make sure all items are labeled with your child’s name. Parents are asked to send a lunch each day. We offer a small class ratio with a maximum of 12 children per class with 2 teachers.
Llamas, Monkeys and Owls: Children 3 to 4 years of age will continue learning to recognize colors and shapes in addition to introducing numbers and letters in our structured curriculum. We make learning fun! The children in this classroom are required to be fully potty trained. Please make sure all items are labeled with your child’s name. Parents are asked to send a lunch each day. We offer a small class ratio with a maximum of 14 children per class with 2 teachers.
Pre-K – Lions, Pandas and Zebras Children 4 years old on or before September 1st are prepared for academic and social success in kindergarten through further development in social, cognitive, language, and motor skills. Kindergarten readiness skills are taught through a structured curriculum to 4 year olds who will enter Kindergarten the following year. Parents are asked to send a lunch each day. We offer a small class ratio with a maximum of 16 children per class with 2 teachers.
Kindergarten-Giraffes Children 5 years old on or before September 1st are prepared for academic and social success in 1st grade. The kindergarten program is a 5 day per week class which follows the Alabama Course of Study for Kindergarten. This class is taught by an Alabama Certified Teacher using a structured curriculum and a variety of themes. This is the only class allowed to leave campus for field trips throughout the year.
