At Epworth, we embrace the idea of a “big tent” United Methodist denomination. We also embody that within our congregation. On a random pew on a random Sunday, the person beside you may be liberal, may be conservative, may be gay, may be straight, may be Republican, may be Democrat. They WILL be a child of God, and we gather together to celebrate God’s love for all the world together, and try to live out the greatest commandment to love our neighbor, whoever that neighbor may be.
