Our music ministry here at Epworth is continuing to grow.  Since the addition of Eric and Nicky Wilson to our staff, our musical groups are taking real shape.  Currently, our offerings are:

• We have a volunteer Chancel Choir that sings nearly every week for Sunday morning worship.  The Chancel Choir meets each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. for rehearsal.  The Chancel Choir presents special music during the Easter and Christmas seasons.  Our Chancel Choir is a warm and winsome small group and we would love to have you sing with us. 

• We also offer a Youth Choral Ensemble.  The Youth Ensemble meets each Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. just before the Wednesday evening youth meeting.  They also sing periodically throughout the year in morning worship.

• Your children are invited to play in our Children’s Bell Choir.  Also, each Autumn and Christmas season  the children prepare for special Children's Choir offerings and a wonderful music presentation each Christmas season.  The older children's choir is for grades First through Fifth.  We try to make learning music fun for the children.  Typically our Children's choir and bell choir meet on Sunday evenings from September through December during our Sunday Evening Fellowship.  Come give us a try.

• This year, the fall of 2010 we've added an additional Children's Choir for our toddlers and pre-schoolers, ages three to five.  We teach them very simple songs and they perform periodically in Sunday morning worship.  The choir experience is on Sunday evening, 6 - 7 p.m., September through early December.  The choir practices from 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. and they have free play (closely supervised by our trained childcare givers) from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  We ask parents, please, to pick up your children promptly at 7:00 p.m.  We hope to see you soon.
