Habitat 2005 - Epworth United Methodist Church Huntsville, Alabama

Spring Build 2005 Habitat for Humanity built 6 new homes in the Spring of 2005 with the help of donors, sponsors and volunteers from all over Alabama. Folks from Epworth United Methodist helped out the morning of Saturday, April 30th, working at the Bicentennial House being built in the honor of Huntsville’s 200th anniversary. The home was being built for Samantha Briggs and her child.

We were scheduled to work on landscaping that day, but due to bad weather we wound up doing a great deal of work inside (laying down subflooring) and outside on the house itself (installing front and back porch features).

A great time was had by all, as you can see from the photos below (click the small pics for a larger view):
