How do I get to Epworth?

Epworth was once strategically located just off State Highway 72 East.  Since the construction of I-565, getting to Epworth has become just a bit more difficult.  We are still just off I-565.  Epworth Drive now runs parallel to I-565. 

If you are coming from east Madison County, the easiest way to get to Epworth is to turn left (south) at the intersection of Moores Mill Road and Highway 72.  Just follow the road up over the mountain keeping I-565 on your right and Epworth will be on your left.

If you are coming from the west on I-565, the easiest way to get to Epworth is to take Exit 21 to Maysville Road.  At the first traffic light, make a U-Turn back onto Epworth Drive and bear to the right.  You'll see Epworth on your right at the three-way stop.

Where do I park?  How do I enter the church?

There are designated parking spaces for our worship guests at the very top of our parking lot on the hill.  The main entrance to the church is at the top level under the large covered drive-through.

Is childcare provided?

We provide childcare for all worship services and small group events.  The nursery is large, clean, and staffed by trained caregivers.  It is also very convenient to the main worship center.  We also provide a "Children's Church" experience for our older pre-school and younger elementary age children.  They normally depart from the worship service following the Children's Minute prior to the message and go downstairs for a more age appropriate worship experience.  Any member of our staff or one of our ushers or greeters will be pleased to show you where the children are.  Of course, if you want to keep your children with you during worship until they are more comfortable, that is perfectly fine.

Where are the children's Sunday school classes located?

Most of our children's classes are located on the upper main floor (the 3rd floor) accessed through the large, main, covered entrance at the top of the hill.  Come through the lobby/narthex and straight down the hall in front of you.  One of our greeters will be glad to assist you.

Where are the youth classes located? 

The youth Sunday School Classes are located on the second floor (one floor down from the main floor).  Again, our greeters will be glad to assist you.

Are there classes for adults?

We offer a variety of classes for adults.  A listing of those classes and details about each one are provided under our "Adult Ministries" or "Sunday School" tabs.

How do I join Epworth?

You may join Epworth in two ways:  By profession of faith, or by transferring your membership from another church.  Call or see our Senior Pastor and he will be glad to answer your questions more thoroughly.
